Greenland

Greenland

Greenland it’s about catastrophes, but it’s not a Roland Emmerich movie. The baton, in destroying the planet, has been taken Greenland by Californian Ric Roman Waugh. Much less known, no doubt, and working on a lower budget than his colleague. But he there he is. This is Greenland and the thing is meteorites. To star in it he has counted again, as in the recent Objective: Washington D.C., with his good friend Gerard Butler who also collaborates through his production company G-BASE.

Following the trajectory of other similar apocalyptic proposals such as Armageddon by Michael Bay, Deep Impact by Mimi Leder, both from 1998, or Meteor from 1979 and directed by Ronald Neame (one of the last blows of the catastrophe subgenre that was so popular in the 70s ), will narrate the fall of the celestial body and its fragments impacting our planet with devastating effects.
